When is Black Friday 2026?

Black Friday 2026 is Friday, November 27, the day after Thanksgiving (Thursday, November 26). Cyber Monday is Monday, November 30.

Most big stores start their sales well before that. Early Black Friday deals usually begin in early November, and some stores run sales all month. Many of the best prices show up online the week of Thanksgiving, often on Thanksgiving Day itself.

How to tell a good Black Friday deal

Check the price, not the percent off. A "was" price can be a list price nobody paid. Look at what the item sold for over the last few months; if the "deal" price showed up in the summer too, it isn't special.

Compare the exact model. Some products made for Black Friday have a slightly different model number and fewer features than the version sold the rest of the year.

Look at the return window and price match rules before you buy. Many stores extend returns over the holidays, and some will refund the difference if the price drops again before Black Friday.
